There are two types of implants available:
• Malleable: Two rods inserted into the corpora cavernosa (erectile tissue)
• Inflatable: A system that uses fluid into cylinders to produce an erection. The implants can be composed of either two or three components and use a pump and reservoir.
Implants allow for sexual activity to continue, and if orgasms were possible before surgery, they should still be possible after surgery.
